Finally!!

Finally, Christmas came and I was able to give Elizabeth her quilt. I am going to pat myself on the back for showing such restraint and NOT telling her about it...lol. It was an easy idea with the colors...most people say black goes with everything, Lizard Breath says leopard goes with everything...lol. And then black and red are the 2 colors she likes after leopard. The pattern is the Friendship Star. I did have it quilted on the longarm machine at the store where I am taking my class. I was worried I wouldn't get it done in time for Christmas, and also that I didn't know how to do it yet...lol. While I have completed the top, we're still assembling single blocks in class, so layering and quilting and binding haven't even been covered yet...lol.
Here are the pics:

I love the way it came out! I am so jealous that you finished an entire quilt already. (and by the way, this is Brooke from quilting :-). I hope you don't mind that I stalked your blog to see how your quilts were turning out.)

I do LOVE it!!!! It was by far one of my most favorite gifts I've ever received! You're always a thoughtful gift-giver...but this topped them all. Next year is gonna have to be like a pair of Jimmy Choos or something to even attempt to come close! *hint* LOL
