Thusday Thankfulness

Today Nov 4, I am thankful for the Navy. Granted, it has had it's ups and downs, but it has provided so much in my life. Yes, it sucked when Bill was gone all the time. It sucked that he didn't get to meet Brice till he almost 6 months old. It has definitely changed over the years-and not all the changes have been good, IMO. However, without the Navy, I wouldn't have met the love of my life. I wouldn't have made some of the most wonderful, lifelong friends. I wouldn't have been able to to travel and grow up overseas. To sum it up by quoting an old recruiting slogan, Navy-It's not just a job, it's an adventure. It has definitely been that, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
