December is here! I managed to complete my 30 days of Thankfulness for Nov, which really was 30 things I'm thankful for throughout the month and didn't actually make it to post every day.
I did think of something else I am thankful for though for today. That my neighbor's moved-no, not the Armers, we're not happy they moved at all; no, the other ones. Last year they had outside Christmas decorations up. While I don't mind in general if it looks like the North Pole threw up on someone's yard and house, theirs was a bit more than I could take.
As you turned onto my street you were greeted by a seizure inducing light show...it was like walking into a club with flashing strobe lights. They must have had at least 3 different sets of lights, none of which were in sync or matched up in any way, except for the fact that they were all set on 'seizure' for the light pattern. Imagine trying to drive. As a bonus, if I managed to successfully make it to my house and pull into my driveway without running off the street into the house 3 doors down, I was treated to a musical *delight* as well once I got out of the truck. It didn't matter how many times you saw it, it still sorta caught you off guard when you first turned onto my street-and heaven forbid if you managed to catch your first glimpse when it was still...it was even more shocking when it went into it's flashing frenzy.
