As an extension of what I was thankful for yesterday(a husband who cooks)...today I'm thankful that I have a teenage son who can cook! Just as Tuesday nights are the man's dinner night, Wednesday the manchild cooks dinner! Tonight was burgers and tater tots, but like the man, he also has a growing repertoire of recipes...I have to say, he makes the best baked salmon!! He made it for dinner one night and it was extra delicious, and I asked what he did different, and he was like 'oh I used a little of this seasoning and decided to add this for a change'...experimenting with recipes and coming up with winners!! He participates in the family menu planning and lets me know what needs to be added to grocery list for what he's cooking each week. He's going to be very popular in his frat house/barracks/apartment when the time comes!
