Big Winner

We listen to a classic rock station at work, KISM out of Bellingham. Thankfully it's a good station with good music since it's the only one we can get to come in clearly...lol. We occasionally try to call in and win things. Sometimes, we don't even know what we're calling in for...we just hear call now and start dialing-thus far, always futile attempts, but calling for we don't even know what usually lightens the mood and gives us a laugh. A few weeks ago, they were giving away smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving and you had to call in when you heard 'Turkeys Gone Wild'...we tried and tried and didn't win. This morning they were asking for an item for this earlier bit about Weekend Want Ads-they list items they saw in the want ads and you have to guess the price and in the spirit of The Price is Right, the other person has to say if they think it's higher or lower. They items this morning included 18 lbs of human hair(gag), and a 3 ft blue cobra hookah(relatively clean, and at the bargain price of $90)-which was my answer. So I won a gift certificate to the Rock Fish Grill in Anacortes. Yay me!! This week is off to a great start-which will be a much welcome change from my grumpy and hostile mood that I battled with all last week!
