Back in Dec, I called in to the station we listen to at work during the morning show for one of their contests and won a gift certificate to a local restaurant. They have several contests throughout the day. Last week or early this week(they all seem to run together), I was the first caller and correctly knew the answer to another question. Only problem was, I couldn't remember the date of when I won, and since you're only supposed to win once every 30 days, I passed the phone off to Fred and let him answer. He won dinner and a movie-DVD and gift certificate to a restaurant. Today, we did it again-Fred knew the answer and had the speedy dialing finger and passed the phone off to me for the correct answer and we won another gift certificate to a 3rd restaurant.
We have a vast array of useless knowledge-which we also test out every morning on the Battle of the Sexes day by day calendar. We also have apparently mastered the dialing to be the lucky first caller. If only we could take these skills and use them for something more productive. Ahh well, dinner(or a movie, or whatever else we can manage to win) is better than nothing!

so, exactly what type of questions are they asking?
The first one I got last month was just about stuff on the morning show that day-to see if you were listening earlier. The last 2 have been midday DJ questions...pop culture...movies, music, etc. Your average everyday useless knowledge...lol.
