Forgot to post yesterday, doh! So doing double duty today.
For Nov 13, I am thankful for days that have no plans. It was rainy and overcast(which I like), and since there was nothing on agenda, that's mostly what I did. Sorta slept in(much to my dismay, I'm not a sleep in kinda person, no matter how much I wish I could). Got caught up on some shows on the DVR. Watched a couple episodes of Big Love. Did some quilt stuff-which included ripped out 20+ feet of stitching, argh.(needless to say I gave up for the day after that).
Today, Nov 14, I am thankful for my cooking ability. While I'm no gourmet chef, I enjoy cooking, like trying new recipes, etc. Tonight was a new recipe from my friend Laura, I made Jack Daniels chicken(love that my spice cabinet includes Jim Beam and Jack Daniels...lol), and served the sauce over 3 cheese tortellini too! De-lish!
