Hump Day

Today, Nov 17, I'm thankful for quilting. I took a 'Quilting 101' class 2 years ago-having never even touched a sewing machine. My grandmother and greatgrandmother quilted, and since they can't teach me, I figured I could at least learn their craft. It has changed quite a bit-they both hand quilted. I, however, do not have the patience for that-I'm all about instant gratification...lol. I have absolutely fallen in love with it. I don't consider myself overly crafty or creative, but this allows me the opportunity to do so. I'm also also to share something I put lots of love into while making with friends and family.
