Twilight
I have succumbed. I gave in and started reading Twilight. I had a couple of friends the past couple of years tell me how great the books were and that I needed to read them. I finally decided I'd read them-but would wait till they were all out since I hate waiting. Being the impatient person I am, instant gratification is so much more satisfying. I bought the first 2 in paperback. Since I prefer all of my books to match, I just decided I'd buy them as they came out in paperback and once I had them all, I'd read them one after the other so there was no waiting and counting down like Harry Potter. I caved. Brice is getting his braces on this Friday morning and since we have to be at the orthodontist out by the mall early and he'll miss school, I told him we'd go see the movie afterwards. I can't stand seeing a movie before I read the book so I started reading it this weekend. Yep, I finished Twilight and am moving on to New Moon today. I'm hopelessly hooked. I love them. I can't wait to see what happens from here. I guess I could be addicted to things worse than books. Now just to hope that the movie doesn't disappoint.

i wouldn't mind reading them but i will not spend the money so guess i won't read them for a few years till i see them cheap at a thrift lol
I am jealous, you are going to see Twilight before me. I am taking Shelby and his girlfriend Friday night :) I can't wait to see it. I am reading the last book in the series now.
Ha ha!! I knew you'd be hooked! I have all of them in hardback.. except Twilight- gonna replace it with a hardback though, my kids are both reading the paperback, and it looks like crapola! Enjoy the movie! We are going next week- my Mom is coming up for Thanksgiving, so I think we're headed to Forks on Sunday.
HA!!! I told you...they only get better!!! I liked the movie, but the book is better!
